Guys,
Today I
entered the subway and saw a lot of people poring over their smartphones and
tabs. Most of them were young men. Majority of them were networking and playing
games. At that moment I realized that in 21st century slavery exists
and All of us are slaves..
How much
time do you spend with your gadget? According to www.telegraph.co.uk average person spend
2 hours using smartphone. I suppose that most of the young people nowadays
waste even more time by using their gadgets. From my personal experience a person
needs smartphone. I use it to check my email and to connect other people
through Facebook or WhatsApp. But I have to notice that 50 years ago people
lived normal life without tabs and smartphones. Moreover, those people were connected with each other more than nowadays. In order to talk to each other
they made an arrangement in café or restaurant and spent time there in a
face-to-face communication. What I see nowadays instead of face-to-face
communication people are texting each other. No doubt, life is faster nowadays
and you need to keep in touch with your business partners, employees and
colleagues and you use your smartphone for this reason. However, almost 80
percent of time that you use your gadget, you are playing, browsing the web or
using social networks. Modern marketers have made you a slave of the gadget. They
made you believe that you need to use your gadget to play or to socialize. If
you see ads of any gadget you will definitely find extract where actor is
showing you that he is playing or socializing. They do it in order to make peace
of plastic with hardware valuable for you. Recently, I have seen two schoolgirls
arguing about new phone, and one of them was blaming her father that instead of
newest one he bought her previous version. It is slavery! You don’t need quad
core processor and Full HD to make a phone call or check your email. Do you think that you need to waste your time
by networking or playing games in your smartphone the whole day? Think how much
time you waste! Man try to use your brain next time when you see ads of a new
device or you want to download a new game. Don’t be blind, stay conscious.
Sincerely,
G.A
